For some important subjects, the digital can’t replace the real.

It’s really different watching a game on TV and attending a live performance, isn’t it?
You capture so many details when you are watching soccer stars playing the game with your own eyes. Sourrounded by thousands of people, you scream as loud as you can to motivate your team to go on the attack while players take their best shot. You can feel the stadium shaking. See, you’d be missing a lot of things if you were watching in your home.

The digital world brought us so many facilities, obviously. But the fact is that digital might be quite good, but is not real. Although nowadays digital is a reality, digital still remains digital.

So, no matter how amazing is your social network profile. You have to meet people face to face. Look in their eyes, read their lips, hear their breath. For some important subjects, the digital can’t replace the real.

  1. The truth is that digital never ~REPLACED~ the real, it just emulates the experience. For example – posting in your Facebook wall is not different from screaming out loud in front of 500 people (or whatever your number of friends is).
I believe that the real will always win.
Computers got no soul, people do.
